A growing family and the birth of their fifth child prompted a major home renovation on a grand scale, with six bedrooms, five bathrooms and several living areas over three levels.

I was engaged to collaborate with the architect, builder and client to create a modern cohesive palette, featuring pops of pretty pinks and a plethora of practical solutions for this active family with five young kids.

Each room in the house is designed with functionality and flow, including bespoke cabinetry. A calming palette of fresh white and natural finishes, soft greys, pale pinks and navy in the living and dining area sets the scene for the rest of the house. Pops of primary colours in the kids' spaces add a sense of playfulness. A curated selection of Australian designer furniture and lighting, custom made furnishings and original contemporary art complete the transformation into a one-of-a-kind forever home.
